Virtual Challenge Ticket
Start time and date: Saturday, 19th September 2020 8am (GMT). Please check the time in your local time zone.
Can’t make this day? Don’t worry, you will be able to complete the Virtual Challenge on the day of choice until end of October 2020.
The list of Challenges to be completed within the 6-hour timeframe
- Strength Challenge: 40 sets of 10 reps each of the prescribed exercises (4,000 reps in total)
- Blindfolded Challenge: 10 sets of the above exercises to be completed blindfolded (1,000 reps in total)
- Ice Bath: 3 minutes
- Step Challenge: 15kg day sack to be carried through 2,000 steps, to be completed in one go
The set of exercises
The below exercises must be completed in descending order within the 6-hour timeframe. 10 reps of each / set, 40 sets in total (100 reps / set , 4,000 reps in total).
- Press Ups
- Half Sit Ups
- Mountain Climbers
- Bicycle Crunches
- Knee Ups
- Squat Thrusts
How to join
We will be issuing branded T-shirts and personalised medals, so during the registration process please confirm your unisex T-shirt size (if not confirmed already) and how you would like to personalise your medal.
On the day of the challenge, participants will receive a unique Zoom link to join the race, you will be asked to keep a record of your times and we’ll be checking in regularly to experience this epic day together as a team.
Criteria for Qualifying a Successful Virtual Challenge
All photos and video need to be date and time stamped wherever possible and posted on the WHOCR Facebook page. The videos and images will appear in the ‘Community Section’ of the WHOCR FB page.
On successful completion of all virtual challenge elements and processing the criteria for qualifying a successful virtual challenge, the participant will then access the WHOCR Virtual Challenge t-shirt and medal and then be entered into the winner’s category of the following:
